This Methodist church was developing great local community links, but its building was impeding growth due to poor facilities and repairs needed. We administered the contract on site to deliver a bright, welcoming space with new kitchen, toilets, cafe area and a refurbished, warm comfortable church.

This parish serves a disadvantaged community in Plymouth. Food often brings people together and plays a huge part in building community relationships. Their kitchen was very small and did not meet the growing demand, so we designed a more professional kitchen with all the necessary new appliances for its catering requirements. We extended the space and worked with the kitchen supplier and client to provide a robust, cheerful kitchen along with other facilities improvements.

This hall had not been refurbished for some years and was in need of refreshing. We designed a new kitchen and toilets, plus a large glazed door and terrace, allowing occupants to make full use of the back garden.

All the decor, heating, lighting etc was also renewed and the roof was re-slated. The photo was taken just before the Grand Opening party.

When a parish in a huge Victorian church could no longer support its maintenance, they asked us if it might be possible to move the church into the adjacent hall, which also needed repairs.

We came up with a design with an exciting raised ceiling in the church side, plus a full sliding partition into a refurbished hall, with new pre-school facilities, kitchen, toilets, office and storage.
